Boosters

Chaparral Baseball's Commitment to Excellence sets high expectations and goals for success on and off the field. And in order to continue to offer our players the very best high school baseball facilities in the state, we need support from our Boosters to provide additional finances through fund-raising efforts. The “Chaparral Diamondbackers” Booster Club is established as a 501(c)(3) organization, donations are fully tax deductible, and is not associated with Chaparral High School or the Scottsdale Unified School District. The Boosters host an annual “Nine & Dine” Golf Tournament as well as seek ongoing sponsorship support from parents, alumni, and friends of the program. Bleachers Current fundraising efforrts are in place to install bleachers behind home plate of Jerry Dawson Field where all Varsity home games are played. Dugouts Last year the Boosters provided funding to complete upgrades to the dugouts and batting cages (see below) The dugouts were starting to show their age with roof leaks, paint peeling, & cracks in the concrete. We now have dugouts that our coaches and players can be proud of! Batting Cages The batting cages were in the same state of falling apart, the floor matting was worn and concrete cracking which created safety issues. The upgrade removed the old floor matting, poured new concrete, added turf and an additional batting tunnel
